Me literally on CODA right now
I can't do this.
I love both of them in the end.

I love both of them in the end.
It might be just me tripping
I have been playing WA2 since last week. Finished I.C., Setsuna Normal, Mari and now reading Chiaki's route. This is one of the few works that i feel so attached because of how "human" the characters feels like despite being just a bunch of PNGs on screen.
I.C. is a masterpiece of a prologue (It always reminds me of how great Vinland Saga's prologue was) despite being just a prologue. The way it introduces characters, the build up of the chemistry between the trio, and the drama, SO GOOD. Setsuna's unrelentless kindness, Kazusa's rough yet caring nature, Haruki's rigid way of living. I feel like some of these characters are just like my IRL friends now that i think about it.
Immediately starts reading C.C., that one Setsuna's CG at the beginning broke my heart just how detailed her delicate emotions was shown, then the failed attempt of the two to reconcile is just heartwrenching.
Fast forward after finished reading Setsuna Normal, i choose Mari for the second playthrough. I love seeing people working hard, and as an older woman enjoyer myself, naturally i got drawn to her. Her route is just the tip of the iceberg for exploring Haruki's way of thinking, but this one also broke me. She's one of those types who would give a 1000% utmost care for you with all her might. Treasure her also with all your might or she will got really destructive. I feel like I can see some of myself in her, I feel somewhat relatable.
Right now i'm on the early parts of Chiaki's route and like, huh, what a sweet girl she is despite being so lazy.
...but every story always come to an end i guess.
I love Majikoi and Sakura Wars, and recently finished Nanairo Reincarnation. I wanna more of some of these, or at least the heroines with traditional japanese style on them.
This one broke me and it reminds me of Persona 3 which also deals with similar theme.
And FYI, i didnt finished any of Key's VN yet since man, the anime adaptation is already heavy.
But i like a good read like this since it keeps me feel alive and sometimes a good coping mechanism, more than just a plain Nukige.
I might have to go back and play it without the 18+ patch since the non 18+ version which based on Vita release has different CGs.
