Always a good time when I get to spot crows at my local park!

One of my House Finches loves to grab a sunflower seed then perch on my red yucca flowers to snack rather than eat on the feeder with the other finches. Anyone see something like this with their feathered friends in their yards? I just find it interesting to see in action!

Found them in Central Texas. First time ever seeing a pair and how different their feather patterns were in person. One of my favorite finds this summer!

Tried out a new park on Lake Travis. Ran into some fellow Audoboners and we all had a blast birding together and found a Willow Flycatcher (no pic). Notable finds for me were the Lark Sparrow, Scizzor Tailed Flycatcher, Blue Grosbeak, Eastern Phoebe and a new lifer the Bronzed Cowbird.

Found them on a walk around the park. Caught them before they chased off a grackle!

Spotted a Western Kingbird and Blue Jay while walking around the capital grounds.

Got to see one of my favorite yard visitors up close!

Surprised by a flock of waxwings in my pecan tree! Blown away by how vibrant they are!
