In spec for a 1941 replica?

I received my first 1941 replica today and noticed a slight lid gap. It is a brand-new one straight from Zippo. Is this something worth bitching over, or not really? Personally, I don't mind it too much, as Zippos aren't airtight anyway, but what are your thoughts?

Is it blasphemy to buy a Zorro if I'm a Zippo collector?

I'm a little confused about how I feel after buying my first Zorro (I don't want to post a photo here, due to it being Zippo products only). Has anyone else been blown away by Zorros? I was going to pick up a Zippo 1935 replica, but in the store, I noticed a substantial lid wobble on a new one. I noticed a Zorro and asked to check it out. Picked it up and:
- the case is thicker, closer to an armor Zippo
- it has brass accents with lacquer on the case, beautiful finish
- the hinge is way tighter than new Zippos

Of course, you do not get the lifetime warranty with Zorro. Zippo inserts, I feel, are still way better than Zorro ones too, and also, I love the fact that Zippo's go so far back, have date codes, etc., etc.

Has anyone else struggled with this a little? Being a huge Zippo fan, but then picking up a Zorro for like 1/3 of the price and noticing how much tighter the tolerances are?

What do you think?

Picked this Slim Satin Chrome Zippo up new for next to nothing, was never going to be a carry one, just one to have fun with. Ended up turning it into a 2-tone. What do you think (fine if you hate it too, it was just an experiment)? It also has a reverse stamp.
