Nickle-silver case turned into a copper color? [not mine]

I saw this zippo online and it appears to be a nickel-silver case, from 1946 judging from the uneven barrels in the hinge, matching the type B bottom stamp (as per glenzippo). The insert is a correct 14-hole, with horizontal teeth at the flint wheel and a rounded cam.

I have never seen a case as oxidised as this one, so I am wondering if anyone else has seen something like it. It looks like a badly rusted steel case, at first sight, which is why it caught my eye.

Why no Flints & Wicks in INDIA at all?

I see companies importing ZIppo Fuel but never wick or flints.

No trusted source like TataCliq, AJIO, Blinkit, Instamart etc has wick & flints.

Fuel is easily found.

If you're from India, where do you manage getting stuff?

Just found this score at a thrift store for $1.29 today was wondring if there was anything special or significant about the initials and name on the lighter body.

Was given this by a stranger

I no longer smoke and I’m not really a collector of these. As far as I can tell it’s completely unused (the guy claimed to be a collector himself). Does anyone have any idea how much something like this would go for, and if it’s worth selling?

WTS - a Beatles Yellow Submarine Zippo gem!

Hi all! I’m looking to part with my Beatles Yellow Submarine Zippo.
It’s used and shows honest pocket wear, but it’s still a beauty
open to reasonable offers.
Message me if you’d like any more photos or details! 😄

My Grandfather's brother worked with Zippo and my grandfather has these zippo houses that are cute!

From what I gathered, they were a limited edition run but they were wooden block model of a house that had to do with zippos history, or something? Dont know much about them, other than what was written on the back of the houses. Made in 2003, I think. The houses are cute. The lighters are designed to be the doors. They looked like this one and he has five different little houses. Wasn't sure if anyone knew more about them.

I just purchased my first zippo lighters and fuel :)

I got myself and my friend a Zippo lighter and some fuel. The fuel is insanely expensive here, it was $30 AUD for 125mL. I’m guessing that’s because it has to be imported from the US to Australia.

I was wondering if it’s possible to open/refill the actual Zippo fuel tin so I can put Shellite in it instead, since that’s much easier to get here. I really like the nozzle on the Zippo tin and it makes filling the lighter way easier.
