Tires for Santa Fe and Angelfire?

I have a Stumpjumper 15 Evo and am flying out west for 2 days riding around Santa Fe and 2 days at Angelfire bike park. Never been to Angelfire but likely mostly their flow trails. I haven't decided what trail I'll be riding near Santa Fe, but I'll be there on a Thurs before hitting AF and again Mon on the way back to ABQ airport.

Currently the bike has Rekon EXO+ rear and a Forekaster V2 up front. Wheels are the 350 Roval Traverse Carbon. I have a pair of a Butcher Grid Gravity T9 2.3/2.6's laying around but am wondering that's not the ideal choice? Interested in trying a radial (such as the new Specialized) but have so heard good things about the Kryptotals.

Riding style- While I enjoy bike parks, I'm not an aggressive or hard rider. I don't go for max air or hit drops taller than my bike. I do enjoy pumping, small jumps and tech features. Telling myself I'll be cautious since I want to survive 4 straight days of riding.

Would love to hear from folks who have ridden there!

Starting off, I'm 5'10" and coming from a Transition Spur, which I enjoyed but sold the frame over winter with the intention of buying a similar bike in large. Since then, the v2 has been released and there's a load of other light trail/XC bikes released.

Our local trails in northern Virginia are typical of the east coast, loose over hardpack with mix of roots and rock, some punchy climbs but nothing sustained for more than 1/8th mile at most. A 10 mile ride may have 1 to 1.5k of elevation.

I do several XC races a year in the 40+ cat but I'm nowhere near a podium and likely never will but I would like that quicker and more responsive racier feel than the Spur offered.

Currently I'm looking at the Yeti ASR frame for $3,200 with the intention to swap over all the high end parts from the Spur.

Unfortunately I don't have access to ride one before buying. But I think I'll like it more to others due to reviewers saying it's very much a race bike confident on the downs. Also, I have a SID Ultimate and want to pair with a Rockshox shock, and the frame kit comes with the sidluxe ultimate. Most other frames come with Fox.

Alternatively I could find a second hand full build Epic 8 w XT drivetrain for the same. Have also considered the Scalpel 3/4, but not a fan of that internal headset cable routing as I do tweak my bike often.

I also have a Stumpjumper Evo, which is quite versatile and I'll use anywhere that may overwhelm my next XC bike.

Help confirm the decision or talk me out of the ASR?
