1.5 years old intact male golden retriever. Potty trained since 3 months old. Occasionally pees in pet stores (marking?) Female cat in heat (related? though this is her second heat and he didn’t pee in house last time) Cat has also peed in houseplants, but not near where the dog peed. Recently cleaned cat vomit in same spot where dog peed. Maybe brought up an old smell and he marked? Dog had just peed outside less than an hour before. Was in a SniffSpot kiddie pool yesterday (UTI? Would it show up that fast?) Realized about a week ago we were giving him way too many freeze-dried liver treats. Breath smelled bad and had rotten egg burps. Read about vitamin A toxicity. Stopped giving him liver treats about 4-5 days ago. Don’t know if that could be related. He’s been acting totally normal.
