Hi everyone,

I just finished my first year at Osgoode and will be starting my first year at Schulich this fall as part of the dual JD/MBA program.

My background is almost entirely in law/social sciences, so I don’t really have any formal business background and was hoping to hear about other people’s experiences transitioning into the MBA program from non-business fields.

How steep was the learning curve? Are there any courses, concepts, or skills you’d recommend brushing up on before September? Also curious about any general advice for succeeding academically at Schulich.

Would really appreciate any insight!
