FSD dodged a semi coming into my lane

Occurred on I-75S near Chattanooga. I was in the middle lane, semi to my right, and an on ramp was about to create a new 4th lane to his right.

I had no idea he even intended to move over until I reviewed the dashcam clip later. I see now that he pulls his cab up next to me, throws his hands, speeds up, signals for a few seconds, then starts moving into my lane. I hate riding directly next to semis for this exact fear that a semi meanders into my lane.
Before anyone says "you should've seen his side blinker", we were going 70 mph and I wasn't exactly expecting him to come over like that since he clearly knew I was right there and had no reason to move in the first place. Plus, a turn signal isn't a free pass to force your way into an occupied lane.
