I have just moved to California from the UK. I have always played on the EUW servers where I have consistently played on 15ms ping.

On the NA server, I noticed my movement was sluggish and noticed my ping is 60-80ms. I thought I had an internet connection issue as I’m only just setting up my new place, but after searching online I’ve discovered that this is normal due to the servers being located in Chicago.

Am I overreacting and will I adjust to this? Or will I now be in a constant lagging state and fall behind competitively?

I don’t want to quit league of legends but I seriously do not think I can play this game with this level of ping.
