Idk if I said that right. I'm using hatch embroidery 3 to edit a design I made in wilcom's other software embroidery studio 2025, I was using the trial to make it at the time then had to pay to continue using, there was no way I was paying the price of an actual car for a bit of software, no matter how convenient it was, and here we are.
So I have this koi fish design that I'm trying to edit the dst file in hatch cause I can't use emb files for some reason. (something about embroidery studio being more advanced) anyway, the problem is I was first treating this design like a piece of art and putting layers of tatami over satin and the design ended up with 150,000+ stitches, very crazy. I need a way to keep everything.... one layer... if that makes sense. Like in the pic I have here I want the multicoloured patches to not have the white satin under it I want it to all fit together like puzzle pieces I think that's the best way I can describe it.
I'm quite new to hatch but I used embroidery studio before and I got the hang of it pretty quick and I'm starting to with this one as well. So your advice and help is most greatly appreciated, I might even post the finished product when it's on a shirt :)
