321 Mile Efficiency Report - 2026 BZ AWD Limited
Trip report: Durham, NC to Bel Air, MD in the BZ
I drove from Durham, NC to Bel Air, MD and stayed about 5 to 9 mph over the speed limit for the entire trip, usually closer to the higher end of that range.
The first leg was mostly on I-85 in a 70 mph zone, so efficiency was around 3.3 mi/kWh. After that, I stopped at an IONNA charging station for 25 minutes. It likely would have been a shorter stop if I had remembered to activate battery preconditioning or slowed down.
From there, I continued on to Bel Air and arrived with an overall efficiency of 3.6 mi/kWh. Climate was set to auto the entire time.
Not much else to report, but I wanted to share a real-world anecdote for anyone considering the BZ or still on the fence.
