Title of the post is very self explanatory and with the rumors of Klopp or Mourinho being the next coach, you see how a lot of people in this sub revel in the idea of potential drama.
This entire season (more so last 2 seasons but everything got really toxic this year in particular) has all been about drama and who’s fault why the team is not succeeding at the level that it needs to and should be.
This entire year has been a finger pointing game, it’s Vini fault, it’s Mbappe’s fault, it’s Jude’s fault, it’s Fede’s fault, etc. you get the gist. This has become a player FC sub rather than a Real Madrid sub. This sub just idolizes players on other teams and actively hates on their own players.
And this comes to the discussions of who should be the next coach and some of the ridiculous takes that have come with it.
I’ve seen a large section of this sub say that they want Mourinho for the sole idea of either kicking out some of the players from the club that they specifically don’t like or trying to “put them in their place”. Nothing about tactics, nothing about the actual the fit and style play that would happen, all about locker room and personnel drama. Never mind the fact that his tenure with Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea, it all ended with him either losing the support of key players or losing the support of the entire locker room completely and having the players down tools.
Now onto Klopp, I personally believe he is a far better fit for this team and has obviously has had significantly more success than Mourinho in the last decade. He is obviously a great man manger and is obviously good tactically. It’s why I feel he would be a great fit, feels very similar to Carlo. It’s why Madrid has always succeeded more with man mangers compared to extremely tactical coaches, the players are obviously very talented and typically need the coach to instill the desire to play for each other instead of playing for only themselves. Obviously tactics are required but trust and belief in each other is the core idea that typically leads to success with this club.
And I’ve seen pushback on him for the fact that he wouldn’t be mean enough with the players and that even if Mourinho becomes the coach and is sacked in 6 months, at least he can kick (insert name of player they don’t like) out of the club. Which again puts the idea that many in this sub care more about the drama and personal issues with certain players rather than what’s the best idea for this club to succeed next season.
