Real madrid should start moving for lennart Karl.

I know this may be very hard but Bayern already have olise on the RW. I don’t if people have realized but our right hand side has been dead for almost mire than 2 years.. nothing dangerous come from this side. We have no clear RW in our squad mastantouno not good enough guler is not a winger and endrick maybe but not a pure winger too. Karl must be on Real madrids list if not this year next year, bcz if u think about it how many world class RW wingers there is in this era especially left footed RW. We have maybe more important signings we need to make in the defence and midfield but a proper RW is needed. I miss the times we had bale and di maria proper RWs.

We should've made a move for Tornike Kvaratskhelia(16), Our scouts weren't aware and now Bayern has made their move for him

Raphael Varane appreciation

We have one of the youngest squads we’ve had for a very long time. Whether that be Huijsen, Güler, Asencio, Carreras, etc. A lot of them are in their early twenties, and still adapting to football at its highest level.

In that process we’ve seen some of them struggle, such as Huijsen, Mastantouno, and even Güler in the beginning of the season. It’s completely normal and could be due to physicality, composure, or maturity. They’re very young and this is not meant as a hatepost.

It just crossed my mind how incredibly young Varane was when he played for us. The CB spot has to be one of the hardest positions for a young player. One mistake and everything can go to shit. In my head, I really can’t believe he was the same age as Huijsen is now.

At 19 this man was defending prime Messi in El Clasico. What absolute class of a defender, and a prodigy. I can’t see any 19 year old in modern football rising to the occasion like that. What a monster he was

[Throwback] Jude intercepts the ball, assists Vini and starts celebrating before he even shoots. They are both joined by their teammates.

Let me cook, the constant overrating of our players by us is (partially) what got us into this mess

Disclaimer: I’m also guilty of this.

To begin, it’s important to acknowledge that Kroos, Modric and Benzema are all some of the greatest players of all time, not just in their positions but overall.

We all got caught up in this scenario where we watched our players play alongside Kroos, Modric and Benzema (Camavinga, Dani Ceballos, Lucas Vazquez and Tchouameni). We thought they were quality players and rightly so, we hyped them up.

However, when it came time for Modric, Kroos and Benzema to leave, we all believed, or at least a lot of us did, that Camavinga, Tchouameni and Bellingham could fill the gaps. Clearly, though, many of these players were simply looked a lot better playing alongside Kroos and Modric.

I remember there was this one meme that was going around where it was like the batteries in the Bernabeu and they had batteries for Kroos modric casemiro and then again for tchouameni valverde and camavinga and they were taking the batteries of the old midfield out and replacing them with those 3.
god how fucking stupid were we. I remember at one point I said tchouameni is better than Rodri and that was before Rodri won his bdor. 😭😭😭😭😭

I know i’m not the only one guilty of this we all overrated a lot of those players so much and I think that’s why there wasn’t the same motivation to sign replacements.

Edit: Some people think i’m saying we overrate bellingham no i’m just saying we all thought those 4 midfielders could fill in the gaps for kroos and modric. Bellingham is probably one of the only world class players on this team

Bellingham as a Mourinho 9?

Historically Mourinho has always loved physical, dominant strikers that can bully defenders, hold up play and attack space aggressively. Just look at some of the 9s he built around: Drogba, Diego Costa, Milito, Lukaku, even prime Benzema profile-wise would’ve been perfect for him.

Everyone keeps talking about signing another attacker like Osimhen, but that exact profile already kind of exists in Bellingham already and the squad already has more than enough attackers.

He’s strong, clearly loves scoring, elite in the air, aggressive, makes great late runs, thrives in duels and has the mentality Mourinho usually loves. Feels like a waste to keep forcing him deeper if the squad lacks that central presence up front.

Endrick honestly looks more natural attacking from wider areas imo, where he can run at defenders instead of wrestling CBs for 90 minutes. Gonzalo is talented too but still lacks some of that physical dominance Mourinho usually demands from his main 9.

Maybe it sounds insane, but I genuinely think a Mourinho team with Bellingham as a false/physical 9 hybrid could be terrifying.

what’s the most frustrating real madrid season you’ve personally watched and why?

not necessarily the worst season statistically, but one that just felt painful week after week

could be because of injuries, bad football, locker room issues, wasted talent, expectations not being met or anything else

for me the most frustrating seasons are usually the ones where the squad clearly has quality but nothing really clicks on the pitch

Twenty-eight years ago today, Predrag Mijatović ended Real Madrid’s 32-year Champions League drought

On May 20, 1998, Predrag Mijatović etched his name into history by scoring the decisive goal against Juventus in Amsterdam, ending Real Madrid's 32-year European drought to secure the club’s seventh title, a trophy they would win again in 2000 and 2002, though the goal remains a source of eternal controversy regarding whether he was offside or onside.

Mourinho previously explained that implementing a high press is impossible if your attackers don't press high. And if they don't drop back, maintaining a low block is also impossible

The club is definitely looking for a central defender, who are you picking?

Going by media rumours, Bastoni and Schlotterbeck are some of the defenders the club wants to sign, as you can see both are different profiles.

Bastoni is not a traditional defender, he is more like a Pique type of player, goes forward a lot with the ball, solid on winning possession and good in the air.

Schlotterbeck is a cheaper option(media says we have a buy clause of 50M if we want him) not the best carrying player, but he is winning more duels.

Now Huijsen is still young, Bastoni and Schlotterbeck are really in their prime, the way people talk about Huijsen you would think he was horrible, in fact it's not even true.

Huijsen is too young to lead our defence, so he needs a good partner, Rudiger lost his form and Militao is injury prone, Alaba is gone for me. I think Huijsen did well based on the stats and the matches i watched, you can't criticize only a player for goals conceeded, our defence got a lot of problems right now.

My pick would be Bastoni, the experience, the fact that he is progressive with the ball(you need it at a big club) and he is probably the best left footed defender in the game right now.

What other options could be available?

Has Güler had a better season than Jude Bellingham and has he been our best or atleast top 3 best midfielder this season?

He has had a reality good season scoring and assisting while playing out of position in the deeper midfield roles.

But has he had a better season than Jude Bellingham and has he been our best or atleast top 3 best midfielder this season?

He has improved his physicality and defensive ability a lot since last season.

Im tired of this season

Well, the season is already over and after all that suffering and pain, I just tired, how can we possibly get to this point, we won everything at 2024, the team was shining, the chemistry, incredible, the vibes, difficult to kill, well, now at 2026, we have won nothing since the trophy against Pachuca, there are scandal after scandal, two managers got sack, Barcelona, a broken club reigning in Spain, you see the classification and in the League are like 10 teams struggling with their permanency in the first division, the problem? Madrid lost points with a lot of them, if not every bad team playing in the league at the moment, we just bad, i hope the next season things change, Florentino seems like he does not care anymore, i wish the World Cup will give me the emotions and feeling that i had before this horrible years.

Wise words from The Special One

Now, I don't think that Mourinho is the right coach for us, but I saw this post a couple minutes ago of what he said a long time ago, and I whole heartedly agree...

"Jose Mourinho on the difference between being a captain and being a leader in a team:

Being a captain and wearing the armband doesn't mean being a leader. I had a captain who couldn't be a leader. People associate wearing the armband with being the team leader. It's not like that. Several times the captain is not the leader - Javier Zanetti and John Terry, yes they were. When you have these type of players in the locker room you can focus more on just being a coach.

At Porto, for example, I had Jorge Costa. I remember one day we were losing 2-0 at the end of the first half against Belenenses and I was about to storm into the changing room. Before entering, he made me wait two minutes outside. When he finished talking and let me in, I just had to deal with tactical matters, because he had already taken care of the rest, the dirty work. He did everything I should have done. In the end, we won this match 3-2 and Jorge Costa scored two goals despite having never scored a goal in his life.

There is a big difference between a captain and a leader. You can't buy leaders, or create leaders but when vou have a leader on your team, your team is one step ahead. Unfortunately, the world of football is now all about image and people focus more on those who claim to be the leaders, rather than those who really are."

Personally, I wish that Jude or Courtois could be our captain

I miss LaLiga BBVA a lot

I miss the days when scoring 100 goals a season felt normal. I miss when we played truly beautiful football. I miss the simple 4-3-3, the fast, relentless attacking play that tore through almost every small and mid-table club. I miss Cristiano Ronaldo screamers. I miss having a real center forward. I miss having a proper left-footed player on the right wing. I miss putting 10 past Rayo Vallecano and scoring 5 against Sevilla before halftime.

Fabrizio Romano sharing Vinicius ex's 'What a kiss' monkey video? Really? 😐

Fabrizio Romano posted this on his facebook today:

It's Vinicius Jr's ex-girlfriend's Instagram post with the chimp kiss + "What a kiss 😂😂" caption (and the Portuguese "Que pegada foi essaaa" which means something like "what a makeout session").

Supposed top journalist back with vini engagement bait. With vini having dealt with racist monkey chants and slurs for years. Giving this kind of obvious innuendo more attention doesn't seem professional at all.
