I mean no generalization, but the "nothing hates Sonic content more than Sonic fans" is killing me, isn't the franchise healing right now after the decline it suffered a while back?, Or are those accustomed to "Sonic being a joke" so they love doing that?.

For me: I would go with Tails, Sonic and Espio.

I will start with "Green Lantern".

To avoid confusion I will state four points about this, I am speaking of a separate genuine identity in case someone mentions Lancelot, Nimue and Galahad, because they serve as alternative versions of the genuine ones.

For Merphiles, I don't think he is technically a hedgehog as he is originally a shapeshifting demon.

And as for the Avatar, he is a customizable identity so I don't think that counts him as a genuine hedgehog, does it?

Finally Scourge, afaik Archie comics are considered non-canon and not game-wise so that leaves him out of the picture.

Overall If you want my opinion, I don't mind having a fifth one, but my only concern is how they will plug that character into the franchise if they ever decide to make one.
