Is Rodri still the undisputed best DMF in the world, or has someone overtaken him?
Ever since he secured the Ballon d'Or, Rodri has been widely considered the absolute gold standard for holding midfielders. He is the anchor that makes Manchester City and Spain completely tick. Even with a few injury issues this season, City's desperate rush to lock him down to a massive new contract shows just how irreplaceable he is to Pep Guardiola's system.
But the physical demands of playing 60 games a year are insane, and a new wave of elite defensive midfielders are putting up monster numbers.
If you had to pick a DM for a Champions League Final tomorrow, is Rodri still your automatic first choice, or are you taking one of these guys instead?
Which positions are the absolute most important for your 13500 coins?
When you're trying to build an unstoppable team for Division PvP, you can't waste coins or training programs on positions that don't move the needle. Since we can't have endgame players everywhere instantly, we have to prioritize.
If you had to rank every position from absolute highest priority (game-changer) to lowest priority (replaceable), what does the current meta dictate?

Would Pelé have dominated the Champions League if he was allowed to play in Europe?
Most of us on this sub are young enough to have watched Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo dominate Europe in 4K every single week. If you’re a bit older, you remember Diego Maradona’s pure magic in the 80s.
But when it comes to Pelé, he played so long ago that most people just look at his 3 World Cups and treat him like a mythical legend rather than a real player.
It makes you wonder: If Brazil hadn’t declared him an official "national treasure" to block him from moving to Europe, how would he have actually fared in the Champions League?
If Ronaldo is "Mr. Champions League," then who is actually "Mr. World Cup?
We all agree Cristiano Ronaldo is "Mr. Champions League" because he owns the records for most goals (140) and assists (42). But when it comes to the World Cup, the "GOAT" title is much more crowded.
If we use the same logic pure performance and records who takes the crown for the World Cup?
Does the title "Mr. World Cup" belong to the guy with the most goals (Klose), the most trophies (Pelé), or the best overall stats (Messi)? Or is there someone else I'm missing?
I'm sorry this is the only way to use free Bullet header Drogba.
How good was Didier Drogba ?
I was recently re-watching Chelsea’s 2012 UCL run, and it’s incredible how much Didier Drogba dominated when it mattered most.
Even though he wasn’t a high-volume stat-padder like some modern strikers, his record in high-pressure moments is nearly unmatched
How does Cristiano Ronaldo Mr. Champions League actually have 0 goals and 0 assists in World Cup knockout games?
I was looking at the all-time stats, and this actually feels like a glitch in the matrix.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the "Knockout King" of the Champions League. He has over 60 goals in the UCL knockout stages alone—he practically built the Real Madrid three-peat on his own in the Quarter-finals and Semi-finals.
Yet, in 20 years and 5 World Cups, his knockout stage stat line for Portugal is:
Games: 8
Goals: 0
Assists: 0
How is it possible for the greatest goalscorer in history to be so dominant in the highest level of club football, but completely go missing in the knockout rounds of the biggest tournament on Earth?
Is it a tactical issue with how Portugal plays, or does this prove that the pressure of the World Cup is just a different beast entirely compared to the Champions League?
4 Missing Dream "Endgame" Legends: Who should be my top priority?
I’ve managed to build a squad with almost every Top 3 player in their respective positions, but I’m still missing four major names from my collection. I'm trying to decide who to go all-in for next and who can wait.
- Patrick Vieira
The Reason: Even with Ajak Rijkaard and Ballon d'Or Rodri, Vieira is in a tier of his own due to his unique player model and defensive reach.
- Peter Schmeichel
The Reason: I use single booster Čech, but Schmeichel is the best "Defensive GK" for pure shot-stopping.
- Pavel Nedvěd
The Reason: My AMF/SS spots are already stacked with big-time Hazard, World Cup Pelé, Kaka, and big-time Messi.
- Edwin van der Sar
The Reason: He has a 107 rating, but most D1 veterans find Čech and Schmeichel more consistent.
Two weeks in: Is the Naruto Epic Pack actually worth your coins for Division PvP?
Now that the Epic: Worldwide Clubs (Naruto Edition) pack has been out for two weeks, we’ve finally moved past the initial "anime hype" and seen how these cards actually perform in the sweatier Division 1.
If you’ve been hesitating and waiting for the consensus, here is the breakdown of whether this pack is a must-pull or a skip if you’re looking to climb the ranks.
Anchor Man Vieira or Destroyer Vieira
I’m trying to decide which version of Vieira is better for the current meta.
On one hand, the Anchor Man version provides that disciplined positioning to protect the backline.
On the other, the Destroyer version is a physical beast who hunts down the ball all over the pitch.
Do you prefer the safety of an Anchor Man or the aggression of a Destroyer?
It’s time to admit it: Cristiano Ronaldo is the GOAT even without a World Cup.
I’m tired of the argument that you need a World Cup to be the greatest. A 7-game tournament that happens once every four years where you can't even choose your teammates should not outweigh 20 years of absolute dominance at the highest level of the sport.
People act like the World Cup is the only measure of greatness, but the Champions League is where the best of the best play every single year. Ronaldo didn't need the luck of a 1-month tournament to prove he was the best; he proved it every Tuesday and Wednesday night for two decades.
If we are judging based on the highest level of football ever played, CR7 has no equal. Is a trophy won with a national team really worth more than a lifetime of perfection in the UCL?
The scariest player I've faced is Lilian Thuram.
This guy never has a bad game against me. It’s nuts how consistent he is every single match. Ever since he first released in eFootball 24, he’s been the undisputed best RB in the game or at least top 2. The fact that he’s also a top-tier CB makes him even more broken.
Which is actually harder: Winning a first-ever UCL for your club, or a first-ever World Cup for your country?
I was thinking about the path to glory for players who aren't lucky enough to play for a historical powerhouse like Real Madrid or Brazil.
If you play for a team that has never won the trophy before, which mountain is actually harder to climb?
Is it harder to build a new European giant from scratch, or to lead a non-traditional footballing nation to a World Cup?
To me, winning a World Cup for a new nation seems impossible, whereas a wealthy club can eventually buy their way to a UCL. What do you guys think?
@choburi Tier List for Center Forwards (CF) following the major update for eFootball 2026.
The eFootball 2026 CF Tier List Explained
"Hey everyone, it’s Choburi! Today I’m going to deep-dive into a Tier List for the best Center Forwards in the current meta. Honestly, the environment right now is crazy every week we get a new, strong CF, so a lot of it comes down to personal preference and how the player 'feels' to you.
I’ve gathered almost every CF released since the big update. I’ll be ranking them from SS (Top Tier) down to C (Not very strong). Keep in mind, even a 'B' or 'C' here might still be usable, but compared to the monsters at the top, they fall behind."
### **SS Tier: The Absolute Best**
*These are the players you must have in your main squad.*
* **Gullit:** "He is arguably the strongest in the game. I can't play without him."
* **Ibrahimović:** "The AC Milan version is a total beast. Essential."
* **Del Piero:** "I personally love him. His movement and finishing are incredible."
* **Suárez:** "An absolute top-tier finisher."
* **Dembélé:** "His recent cards are insanely fast and strong."
* **Bale:** "I use him as a Super-Sub. His power is a game-changer."
* **Rummenigge:** "I rank him slightly higher than Eto'o. I use him as a Super-Sub lately."
* **Tevez & Álvarez:** "Both are extremely high level and very reliable."
* **Bellingham:** "I value him very highly, though he can also play in midfield."
* **Mbappé:** "Still very strong, though I’ve been focusing on players with better 'Blitz Curler' skills lately."
* **Jan Koller:** "The special 'target man' king. He’s in a category of his own."
### **S Tier: Very Strong**
Great players, but just slightly below the "God" tier.
* **Vinícius Jr. & Eto’o:** "Strong, but I don't prioritize them over the SS guys."
* **Saviola & Hazard:** "Great feel, but Hazard feels better as a Second Striker (SS) or AMF."
* **Shevchenko & Owen:** "Legends, but they don't quite make the 'must-start' list for me right now."
* **Neymar & Pelé:** "Both are actually better as Second Strikers than pure Center Forwards."
* **Onuachu:** "Another special tall player, like a mini-Koller."
### **A Tier: Good for Some, Bench for Others**
* **Aubameyang & Pato:** "They have speed, but the finishing isn't as elite."
* **Makaay & Van Nistelrooy:** "Decent, but I don't find myself choosing them often."
* **Gerd Müller & Zola:** "Zola is better on the wing. Müller is okay, but not meta."
* **Drogba:** "Very annoying to play against, but I don't use him much myself."
### **B & C Tier: The Rest**
* **B Tier:** Players like **Morientes**, **Lukaku**, or **Raúl**.
"They are fine if you like them, but they aren't 'meta' choices."
* **C Tier:** Mostly free players or older cards like
**Bergkamp** and **Vieri**. "I find them very difficult to use in high-level Division matches."
### **Chiburi’s Closing Advice:**
"For my SS rank, the order matters (left is stronger).
**Gullit** and **Ibra** are my favorites.
Remember, this list is just my opinion based on the new update! Because everyone has such high stats now, the most important thing is to find the player that fits *your* playstyle whether you like tall 'Target Men' like **Koller** or agile dribblers like **Del Piero**.
What do you guys think? Who are you starting in Division 1? Let me know in the comments!"

Why is the "Top 3" in football history always South American?
I was looking at the all-time rankings today, and it hit me. In almost every single list—whether it’s from FIFA, FourFourTwo, or just general fan polls the Top 3 is almost always Pelé, Maradona, and Messi. Don’t get me wrong, Europe has produced absolute monsters like Cristiano Ronaldo (Mr. Champions League himself), Cruyff, Zidane, and Beckenbauer.
But when it comes to that Mount Rushmore tier of football, it’s always Brazil and Argentina.
Why do you think that is? Europe has the best infrastructure, the most money, and the most tactical coaching in the world. Yet, the three players who essentially solved football are all from South America.
Non-anime watchers: What do you think about these anime collaboration card designs?
With the recent wave of crossovers like Captain Tsubasa and Naruto Shippuden, the card art in eFootball 26 has taken a massive turn toward anime styles.
I’m curious to hear from the players who don't actually watch anime. When you see cards like the Naruto Marcelo or the Captain Tsubasa Rummenigge, what’s your honest reaction?
Personally, I think the Naruto designs like the Sasuke/Bale card are some of the most creative we've seen, but I can see why a football purist might find them cringe. What’s the verdict?
This game is so boring right now.
I’ve hit the wall with eFootball 26. Every Thursday, Konami drops these new cards whether it’s the Naruto collaboration or the latest Big Time epics but for what?
The events are exactly the same every single week. There is zero creativity in the game modes. We are stuck in an endless loop of:
The Division Grind: Sweating out PVP matches against the same Big Time Hazard/Messi squads.
Vs. AI League: Mindlessly clearing events just to get a handful of booster tokens or a skill program.
