Yes messi is a better goalscorer but we'll put that debate aside for now since im not gonna keep on stating the obvious except for this one which was obvious for years up until ronaldo's legs started to look like planks and he was slower than a 5th division player however this recency bias doesnt have a place in our sport and should never start now... ronaldo has been the 2nd best goalscorer Ever since his signing to Real madrid and his importance to every team hes been at since has been high and worth it for the club (except the Man U return but that was wrong on both the club and ronaldo so blame is equally split) anyways my point is that just because we're messi fans because hes the best doesn't mean we should throw our brains out the window and become delusional due to how shit ronaldo has been recently. No matter how bad ronaldo has been recently he will go down as the 2nd best goalscorer of all time in my books and so should that be the case for all of you too.

Imagine crying because the person you constantly fouled throughout the whole game finally had enough and confronted you. Penaldo fans will ignore this because it doesn't fit their "Messi is a jerk without a reason" slogan.
