First time posting, so go easy on me!
I've been tweaking this list for quite a while and have borrowed ideas from a number of successful builds along the way. At its core, it's a Bant Badgemole Cub/Ouroboroid list.
I recently added white to the deck, and since then it has felt incredibly strong. Some of the standout cards have been Figure of Fable as an excellent mana sink, Sab-Sunen for its combination of indestructibility and card draw, Quandrix Charm for its versatility, and Enter the Avatar State as both protection and a way to grant evasion and lifelink when needed.
I faced quite a bit of control during the event and was able to hold my own thanks to counterspells like Spider-Sense and Quandrix Charm. I also can't overstate how powerful Frenzied Baloth was out of the sideboard. The deck felt flexible enough to go long in grindy matches while still being capable of getting under opponents with a fast start.
Against more aggressive decks, I brought in Seam Rip for cheap removal. It seems like enchantment removal is underplayed by many opponents right now. In mirror matches, Into the Flood Maw was excellent for setting opponents back a turn or bouncing a threat that had grown too large. Erode also pulled its weight by answering troublesome planeswalkers and, in a pinch, helping me find a land.
I mainly wanted to share the list because I haven't seen many people playing something quite like it, and I'm pretty proud of how it performed. I'd love to hear any feedback, suggestions, or thoughts on the deck. It felt balanced, consistent, and, most importantly, a lot of fun to play.
