Omg I got approved yesterday 😭😭thank you God

I have been married to my wife for 7 years with 4 kids we have know each other for 9 years, my country is not part of the 39 banned list but I think it’s part of the 75 countries list. I had 3 j1 visas it’s was a summer work and travel program. The first j1 visa I wasn’t subjected to the 2 year rule but I didn’t wanna stay in the US, so I went back to my country, so later I wanted to come back to the US again, so I applied for another J1 visa for the second time got approved wasn’t subjected to the 2 year rule again but after the program i wanted to go back to my home country so I left. Then i was like i wanna go back to the US again lol so i applied for another J1 visa for the 3rd time and luckily got approved again this time the consular marked on the DS SUBJECTED TO THE 2 YEAR RULE😭 I was pissed. So since I knew I was subjected to the 2 year rule on my 3rd j1 visas I didn’t file an advisory-opinion, I just went ahead and applied for a No Objection Statement waiver (DS3035) and then I got an email from Department of State saying NOT Subjected if you scroll to the 3rd and 4th page you will see them. So I filed AOS in July 2025, later had an RFE for IRS Tax Transcripts we didn’t submit the right transcript, I think around November or December we had an interview Baltimore location, everything went well the officer said she will approve both I-130 and I-485, so 30 minutes later-I-130 was approved same day, so I was waiting for my I-485 but nothing 6 days after the interview I later got a second RFE saying they wanted more prove of me not been subjected to the 2 year rule smh after I have submitted all the evidence in the I-485 document but they said the email from department of State and the J1 waiver website page showing NOT SUBJECTED was not enough evidence because it lacks date of birth, my address smh, so I mailed them the Whole DS 3035 packet application forms to show prove I applied for a waiver, then 1 week later had a NTA before an immigration judge it stated I overstayed my j1 Visa I thought it was forgivable when married to a US citizen lol even the officer at the interview said they won’t penalize me for that, my wife was so upset and she was sad all the time so we informed our lawyer and she filed a motion to terminate it we had a zoom hearing and the Judge was so nice she said all the evidence I provided looks legit I have a nice family beautiful kids, so why do they want me to be removed from my the US the judge said I haven’t been denied yet and USCIS haven’t made a decision yet so she will terminate the removal proceedings. 7days later I had a letter in my mail from ICE they told me to come to their office 😭😭so I went with my lawyer I was so scared because they were just arresting a lot of people. My lawyer told me to calm down they called my name and they said we just need your finger print then you can go home and the ICE officer said we might call you back 3 months time again for another finger prints or if you are denied for your I -485 we will detain you 😭. So I was like at least they should approve my work permit so I contacted the congressman in my area on April 1st that it’s taking forever for my case since i went for an interview in November 2025 the congressman said they can only help me for get a work permit but didn’t get nothing approved. I called USCIS customer representative the lady told I have to wait till April 2028 for a decision lmao 😂😂 ridiculous. I’m grateful my case have been approved. Thank you to everyone you can ask any questions or send me a private message will reply you.
