Birth Certificate Question
I recently applied for my passport and have all appropriate documents. The guy working at the post office told me my birth certificate photo copy was enough. I was under the impression that you had to send the certified copy. I really didn’t want to have to do that, so I went with what the postal worker said. Now I’m kind of second guessing it and worried my application will be denied. Has anyone experienced this?
Edit: edit to add that this is not my first passport. The postal worker said because I was including my old passport in my documents that I did not need the birth certificate.
