I have so many screws, springs, and pedals I could build one in the Forbidden Lands to fight on my behalf. Maybe then it could find me 1 measly Nodule, because clearly the Desire Sensor™ is working overtime to prevent me from crafting a pair of GLOVES and COATTAIL.
I have a love/hate relationship with this monster. On the one hand, it forced me to try out weapons and playstyles I would've never considered. Lance is now in my main weapon rotation. I would've never considered touching it in Tri, World, or Rise. Now I am a certified member of the Poke Brigade.
It also triggers nostalgia for the days of when I was more into MMOs (of course the MMO boss would trigger MMO feelings). Off-Tank, DPS Healer, Sentinel; roles more at-home in Omega's home genre than Monster Hunter. Now my loadout page is tailored to them. And, in true raid boss fashion, will force you to grind Mats for days.
This dumb robot spider does not let you catch a break. One misstep (damn you MRV Missile barrage) will ruin an otherwise perfect run. But: I have to hand it off to Capcom. They created a monster that challenges your knowledge of the series in every way. And I love it.
