Qatar Airways canceled my flight 2.5 years ago — still no refund, no resolution. What can I do?
I’ve honestly run out of patience at this point and I’m hoping someone here has advice or has faced something similar.
My Qatar Airways flight (booking reference) was canceled 2.5 years ago, and since then I have not received a refund, rebooking, or any proper resolution.
I’ve been in constant contact with their customer service over this entire period. Every time I follow up, I get one of the following responses:
- “It’s under investigation”
- “It’s not our fault”
- Or they redirect me to other airlines involved in the itinerary
The problem is: Qatar Airways was my main service provider, and I booked through them. I shouldn’t have to chase multiple airlines to get my money back.
For reference, my case details:
At this point, it feels like I’m being ignored or endlessly delayed until I give up.
Has anyone dealt with something like this with Qatar Airways or another airline?
- Is there a regulatory body I can escalate this to?
- Should I pursue legal action or a chargeback (even after this long)?
Any advice would really help — I just want a fair resolution after all this time.
Thanks in advance.
