Celebrating
I just came here to say that at long last, our fight is over!!!! We’ve been fighting the good fight for our girl since she was 18 months old and communicating solely by screaming. She had literally all of the pieces of the ASD diagnosis, but no official ASD diagnosis. It was always, “as she gets older, and more demands are placed on her life will continue to get worse for her.” With no diagnosis, no resource left unturned, no therapy left untried. Just the huge elephant in the room that nobody wanted to address. But FINALLY, at age 11, after adding yet another provider to the roster we have a DIAGNOSIS! Have to go through the testing, for insurance formality, but the psychologist already said she was diagnosing her and isn’t going to leave her undiagnosed and untreated much longer! Praise be❤️
