ASEN Masters Courses
Hi everyone,
As the title implies, I am a newly admitted ASEN masters student. I am looking at what courses to register for during the Fall 2026 term. I came to CU Boulder to specialize in astrodynamics, and so I really find the following interesting for my discipline:
ASEN 5090 - Axelrad
ASEN 5519 - Far
ASEN 6010 - Schaub
ASEN 6020 - Scheeres
I am looking at doing a thesis masters, and according to the graduate student handbook, I need 6 credits of thesis work (ASEN 6090). That being said, I think I will need to choose two of the above courses to do for the first semester so that the math adds up.
My current plan is to take 5090 and 6010 together in the same semester, with thesis research. If anyone has experience with these courses, I would appreciate any honest feedback on the workload/doability of this. Thaks everyone for your time.
