My lactation consultant came over the other day and was shocked that I’m still feeding off both breasts. I didn’t realize I wasn’t supposed to be doing that anymore??? My baby is 11 weeks old. She said I’m over feeding him but I thought you can’t over feed a breastfed baby. I’m a first time mom and need a little help understanding all of this. I’m scared my supply will drop if I stop doing both sides. When and how did you make the switch to one breast? Do you pump for relief in the middle of the night to help with engorgement if you’re only doing one side at a time?
