I am in a new apartment and the clothes dryer fits in an alcove just big enough to fit the dryer with walls on both sides. The dryer vent was hooked up with the flexible aluminum hose, but it forces the dryer to sit out about 5-6 inches too far. I have looked at periscope vents to get it closer to the back wall and not out so far, but I have physical problems so I can't reach it from the top and both dryer and wall opening are all the way at the bottom, and there is no way to hook both ends up from the sides because of the alcove walls on either side. Does anyone have any other suggestions that would help me.
