Hello. I’m a 19 year old classics student and I won a Discover EU pass for this summer. I was planning a trip to Istanbul through the balkans, but my parents don‘t want me to go alone, so I’ve had to pivot. Decided I’d explore the french province - I speak (some) french, but need more practice:) I like long train rides (have a looot of reading to do), everything art and history, and would like to travel somewhere I could meet new people in a wine bar (not a club person at all). This is something I’ve thought up and need opinions:
26.07, I land in Paris. stay there until the 29th., as I’ve been before and it’s costly. Visit Giverny:)
29.07 train Paris - Nîmes
29.07 - 06.08 stay in Nîmes. Day trips to Arles, Orange, Pont du Gard, Montpellier, Sète, Marseille? I don’t know if staying in Marseille would be more interesting? I want people!
06 - 08.08 I leave for Strasbourg, stay there a bit, then leave for Vienna
08 - 12.08 Vienna!
12 - 15.08 Prague!!
and then I head home via train.
What do you guys think?
