So back in Jan 2026, MedicalRX issued provider notice that "Single-ingredient vitamins and antihistamines are restricted to a 90- to 100-day supply per fill for all Medi-Cal members 21 years of age and older". So who are responsible for policing that policy if 30 days claim (both initial and refills) for these products still go through MedicalRX without any rejection? Will there be risk of audit from MedicalRX later if we refill 30 days supply (based on prescribed qty) for these OTC products?
