I got my first speeding ticket ever in Ontario. I was driving 114 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. I currently live in Toronto, but I received the ticket near Napanee, which is quite far from where I live.

I’m planning to request an early resolution because I’ll pay the fine, but I would like to see if the demerit points or fine can be reduced since this is my first offence.

I’m a bit confused about which option I should choose on the ticket

For people who have gone through this before, which option would be better if my goal is mainly to reduce the demerit points while still paying? Also, since I live far away from Napanee, is it possible to handle the early resolution remotely/by phone or online?

Any advice or experiences would really help. Thanks!
