Thinking about the G9...
Hello guys,
I'm thinking of joining the family by picking up a G9 (G93SC) that i can have for 1050€, but I'm a bit hesitant and have some questions.
For context, my current setup consists of two 27" monitors: one 144Hz 1440p for gaming and a second 60Hz 1080p for side tasks (youtube, twitch, web etc). I’m running this on a 5070 Ti / 9800X3D / 64GB RAM build.
Would you recommend a G9 with this setup? Will it run smoothly for most survival games (Palworld, Dune, NMS), Star Citizen, or MMOs like WoW, GW2, Diablo, Forza horizon 6 ? I’m not an FPS hunter; I’m perfectly happy with a stable 120 FPS.
How do you handle games that don't support ultrawide resolutions?
Is burning a real thing on this screen ?
I’m planning to switch from Windows to CachyOS soon. Will this resolution be well-supported?
Also I’m a bit worried about light reflections on the glossy screen. How is it in person?
Which arm would you recommend that isn't an Ergotron? (I find them a bit overpriced).
