Hey r/EDH! Newer Commander player here. I recently did my first draft of Secrets of Strixhaven and am trying to build a Commander deck from what I pulled. I chose [[Mizzix of the Izmagnus]] as my commander and built around a Hybrid Magecraft/Storm archetype.

I also have 22 cards in the "Considering" section on Moxfield that I own and could swap in -- would love input on whether any of those belong in the main deck over what's currently there.
My three main questions:
Mizzix protection: I only have [[Cavern of Souls]], [[Chase Inspiration]], and three counterspells to protect her. Is that enough, or am I going to spend the whole game recasting her?
General feedback: Does the deck have a clear path to winning? My intended lines are: (a) Mizzix at 4+ XP into [[Crackle with Power]], (b) [[Bonus Round]] + [[Thousand-Year Storm]] into a spell chain, (c) [[Past in Flames]] or [[Mizzix's Mastery]] overloaded as a backup storm turn.
Swap suggestions: If you see anything in my Considering zone that should be in the main deck over a current card, I'd love to hear the case for it.
A few notes:
- Several cards are from Secrets of Strixhaven (SOS) and may not be in every database yet -
- Budget is spent: looking for swaps within what I already own, not new purchases. I'd maybe throw $10 at anything that gets unanimous support.
-I know the deck is creature-heavy compared to a typical storm build -- that's intentional given the Magecraft/Opus package from the draft
