So, I’ve activated the portal once already, and I’m trying to activate it a second time. I have an advanced research point, but the portal tree buttons remain greyed out, I don’t know what to do. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
All right, I need a little bit of help. I received a computer from my brother-in-law who decided to stop using it due to getting MAC address bands on a couple of games and I had no intention of ever playing those games or getting back into those games so I decided to take the computer off his hands. It is a ryzen 7 2700 with an evga GeForce 3070. I made sure to take the proper steps of creating a system restore point, a USB drive (FAT32) containing the current stable released version of the bios .CAP file, and then proceeded to flash the bios, after doing so I am not getting any display output to a monitor, granted, I only have an HDMI cable that I can use at the moment. I have already tried re-seating the GPU and did a quick 30 second CSOM reset by pulling that battery off the motherboard.
Everything inside the computer looks fine. I’m not getting any QLED warning lights on the motherboard. I’m just not receiving any output to any display from the GPU.
My next step would most likely end up being turning the psu switch off, unplugging the power supply, doing a full power drain cycle, taking out the CSOM battery for a full five minutes and possibly borrowing another computer to rename the .CAP file to do a CrashFree BIOS recovery.
I’m just curious if there’s any other suggestions before I go that route would greatly appreciate any and all help and this has become a lot more of a project than trying to get all 32 GB of RAM accessible
