Looking to build my main base on Styx and wondering where is best?
I want to build close to my deep mining drills but also have flat land and also have a water source.
Originally I wanted to build around F9/F10 but I think it would be better to build a water base around G7.
Thoughts?
300+ hours later and I’m finally done (or almost done) with all the Olympus Operations.
Planning on going to Styx next.
Is there anything I should beforehand?
Things I’m prepping for:
getting a mining armature for smelting iron and copper early.
Sending all my workshop equipment to space
Sending all mounts to space
I have all workshop firearms, backpacks, canteen and o2 tank, I have workshop armor and most of what I need for basic survival
Anything else I’m missing?
Dunno if this is a bug or intended. But when you return gear to space that was not owned by you, you lose it entirely?
I’ve lost a few items this way now. Is there any way to retrieve the items?
I played pretty late last night and woke up this morning and it asked me which to use my cloud save or my backup save.
I chose the one with the most up to date time. It was around midnight.
I load my game and I’m stuck in a save from around 11pm.
I logged off the game at 3am.
I check my prospects folder and the only backup close to that is from 4pm that day. What the actual fuck.
Which is better? I’m currently using the shark suit but the Haulier looks amazing except I don’t like that it doesn’t have a water slot. Is that annoying?

Am I the only one who made a mistake building the legendary weapons? My KR is pretty good. Although I got the homing barrel and I think it’s worse. My bullets don’t tend to go where I want when trying to shoot a quarrite.
Then the pistol. That thing is hot garbage. I hate the 3 mag capacity. It basically just kills anything that already died in one hit in one hit.
Personally, I think the SMG shreds for the 9mm caliber.
Is it worth it to build another one? I have 7500 purple exotics so I have more than enough to buy another license but I think my KR is good enough. The pistol I don’t think I’d bother building a different one.
Anyone have any thoughts on what I should do. I wanted something that melted the quarrite and I think it’s just simply the smg.
For clarity I usually use: 1) SMG/Pistol 2) KR for big boys 3) Sovereign Rifle for most uses 4) shotgun for big boys up close
