A couple changes to power generation is in order

The other power sources besides the bioreactor need to be nerfed and be more expensive to make. Things you make with the habitat builder that aren't basic rooms really should cost electronic parts. It's just too easy to get an enormous amount of power from hydroelectric or thermal for a small cost of simple resources.

I think the least amount of energy from a bioreactor material should be comparable to 5 solar panels, 3 hydroelectric turbines, and 2 thermals, minimum. The ability to just put it down and never need to do anything else again should have a much larger cost for the other energy resources. The only boon that the bioreactor currently has, from what I can gather, is a small amount of energy maximum and the ability to have energy in caves, which there's aren't many to make bases in and there's abolutely no reason to do so either.

Thermal areas are just waaay too big to get an enormous amount of energy from just throwing generators around. At the same time, there isn't enough of these areas in a smaller form scattered around. It's unbelievably optimal to put your base next to the vertical thermal strip on the other side of the >!first alien structure!< compared to anywhere else around that plateau, for example.

I also think the currents need to be more chaotic in power input like the solar panels have so there's more of an incentive to use the power storage. Possibly make these generators bigger to make it harder to throw a lot of them down on one current. Actually, make all of the power generation structures much bigger to nerf being able to spam them down everywhere.

I'm ngl, I think the power extenders just straight up need to go. They make thermal and hydroelectric far too overpowered.

Currently, anything that isn't titanium, quartz, copper and the last end game resource don't have enough sinks. There is way too much gold and lead. Silver is very abundant but that's only if you find the handful of places it's clustered around, although, that's really not hard to find if you explore a little.

I think the lack of biomes for many of these resouces to be restricted to is hurting the pacing of progression. It'll obviously help when there's more biomes and areas you want to build more bases for but regardless, power still needs large adjustments to balance imo.
