Every time there’s a college board exam, whether it’s SAT or AP, you can even throw the ACT in there too, all I hear from people is how hard the test was. How this test is different and it was harder than the test. Does this apply to this years FRQ? Did we really have a harder FRQ compared to previous years? Or is this just part of the never ending cycle of students thinking that this test was harder than the rest.

I’ve taken all the practice exams available on AP classroom and I’m feeling a little better about the exam. Now, the only problem is that I don’t really know how this compares to the real deal. If someone knows, tell me, are the practice exams easier? About the same? Or are they harder?

I took practice exam 1 and I got 37/50 and practice FRQ 1 and I got about a 71.7, meaning that my average is about a 72. Is that good news? Is the practice exam easier than the actual AP Chemistry test? I will be taking the other practice exams soon, but I want to know if the practice exam is a good indicator of my performance on the real deal. Thank you!!
