Finally was able to get my hands on one of these after being instantly intrigued upon seeing it in someone else collection. One of the most unique machined pens I’ve ever seen and built solidly as a rock. Combine that a mechanism that is reminiscent of a gear shifter in your car as well as alien face-sucker esque pocket clip and triangular grip and you got one wild ahh pen. Definitely happy to add this one to the collection as they don’t really pop up for sale very often!
Found this stainless wave with the blue ano for a great price courtesy of one of the homies on the discord, just arrived today. Big fan of the Wave pattern tbh. Definitely WILL NOT be taking this one out with me while drinking, learned my lesson from the last time 😂
Just received a bronze modern fuel bolt action from Ghostcollector37 and im digging everything about the pen so far except one thing that is killing the vibe for me. The spring in here is so weak and its causing the action to not be as snappy as I would like. I had heard that was the case but figured itd be easy enough to swap in another spring but istg, they used the weirdest spring for this thing.
Tried both an energel and a g2 spring and spent about an hour trying to modify them because the stock spring barely has any coils so when you swap it out for a g2 or energel the bolt isnt able to depress fully. Tried cutting the springs to fit but couldn't get it to work and gave up after a while as I was about to tear my hair out.
Wondering if anyone else has this pen, what spring did yall swap out as a replacement? Lmk, much thanks and aloha!
Just picked up a stainless disco remix the other week and last night my brother (who lives next door to me) had one of his friends over for drinks. It was later in the evening he asks if i could come over to let him borrow something. I say no prob not realizing I had taken my sleeping medication a bit earlier. I had the pen in my hand and was fiddling with it cause I figure I was gonna be right back home.
Well long story short, I get there and they ask if i want a beer and I say sure. Then the next thing I know, i wake up in my bed this morning wondering what the hell happened lol. I saw the pen case on my bed but no pens, checked my sheets and under the bed. Then looked over my ENTIRE house. Then went over to my brothers and looked all around the patio where we were hanging out. Nothing. They remember see me playing around with it and his friend said he thought it was a tire gauge lol.
Anyways, just venting at my stupidity rn, hoping it’ll pop up eventually somewhere but I’ve kinda resigned to the fact it may be lost to the wind. Lesson learned I guess, don’t take my expensive pens out of the house if there is a chance for inebriation 😭🤦. I’m just like why did it have to be THAT one and not one of my cheaper pens smh

I can see why these have the following they do now. Built solid af with a smooth action and some really interesting milling patterns. Def gonna have to add more of these to my collection at some point.

Just received this beaut in the mail yesterday and I gotta say: I understand it now. I can see why these get recommended a lot. Build quality is rock solid and the mech on the clicker is soooo buttery smooth. Bonus on the customer service as well. Placed my order last Thursday, it was shipped on Friday from Wisconsin and it was delivered to me in Hawaii yesterday lol.

Finally received these in the mail today and just wanted to post them to anyone who is curious about picking em up. Loved the action on my Compakt that I got last week so I bit the bullet and grabbed the 3 pack they had on the website and they just arrived this afternoon.
The bolt action on all 3 of these is smooth asf and I really dig the colors and feel on these 3 models. For $115 for 3 nicely machined pens you cant really go wrong tbh. My fave is obviously the copper one lol, and its my 1st copper pen I own and I love how heavy and substantial it feels.

Recently got into machined pens and this brand wasn’t on my radar but stumbled upon them while browsing on Jet Pens the other day and started to do some research and apparently they’re one of the OGs in this hobby. Was checking out their website and decided to pick one of their techliners up.
I noticed Mike is based in Hawaii and I’m born and raised here as well so I wanted to support a local maker and I also just think they make some really sick designs with some crazy laser work. Mike was a really cool dude also and let me pick up the pen from his shop in Honolulu, he even gave me a tour and showed me around to all the machines and their collab stuff with shirogorov and the new run of stuff they’re working on for tactical turn that’s dropping soon😉. Super cool experience tbh and I will def be keeping them in mind for future pickups 👍
Recently got into machined pens after picking up in interest in pens in general (I got bit by the pen bug after buying an Energel Alloy a few weeks ago). Was looking into Everyday Karas since they’re affordable and I’ve heard good things about them. Just received this in the mail today and I’m really digging it so far. Love the colors and the action on the bolt is incredibly smooth compared to my Tactical Turn I own. I like this one so much I ended up pulling the trigger on the 3 pack anniversary edition for their Basiks lol
