It won't ever have a more dedicated fanbase than Destiny, and it will never have even close to the same amount of people playing it as Destiny did when Bungie actually cared about it. They killed the wrong game, and even Marathon-enjoyers can see that now. Just wanted to say that.

The game started with 7 people and didn’t even have NBA IP Rights until the game was damn near finished. Now it’s 18 people working on the game, and y’all act like it’s the fucking 2K devs .. 😂. Call up 6 of your friends and make a better basketball game… you couldn’t. “No single player mode. No offline mode. No 2K camera” like god damn, the game JUST DROP. Small indie team, let them cook. I can tell you little niggas ain’t grow up playing NO Basketball Arcade games 😂

Head on into the main sub and start posting these complaints about blast havers being too poor to mass buy the game and give it out to others. Counter out all the new threads of people complaining that people don't want to buy Marathon.

This post is about the main sub, literally nothing to do with the game. We have a lot of blast havers here today it would seem, doing what they do best. Being some of the most hateful and reprehensible individuals out there. Proven by their knee-jerk reactions displayed below.

Might be a bit harsh but I came back for the season 2 start and all and... yeah this is rough.

I really want Marathon to succeed but where is the optimisation update they promised us weeks after the release.

If Bungie wants more player they have to optimize their game.

It is just absurdly abnormal to have so much input latency and performances that bad for a shooter.

It affects the immersion into the game so bad that it gets boring.

Also is that really season 2 and not a refinement of season 1?

Like it just feels so empty. Night maps are fun but for 2-3 games and you have to do all the missions over again like hurghhh.

Also I heard Bungie was focusing into making a PVE mode, I just hope it's not escort missions where there is no narration or proper story because that would really sign the end of the game imo.

Sorry for all that negativity but I'm just deeply disappointed in what I just witnessed from season 2 so far.

Man I actually love Marathon, actively playing it right now! Today is proof Sony/Bungie have no idea what they are doing. The player count discrepancy between Marathon and D2 is BAD!
