I deposited approximately ¥130,000 into my Sendico wallet while planning to purchase 93 different trading cards from two Japanese shops, Cardrush and Yuyutei.

When I asked support how the purchases would be handled, they confirmed that I would need 19 orders, costing ¥9,500 in purchasing fees. They also confirmed that each group of five items would be purchased through a separate shopping cart and checkout, even when buying from the same shop.

I did not understand this restriction before funding my account. The five-link limit, separate-checkout requirement and resulting fees should be prominently explained before customers deposit money for bulk purchases.

Support answered my questions, but their answer revealed that the purchasing arrangement was much less suitable for my needs than I had expected. I have not placed this bulk order.

If you collect trading cards or want many different items from one shop, get written confirmation of the number of orders, total purchasing fees and domestic shipping charges before depositing. “¥500 per order” does not tell you much until you know how many orders Sendico will require.

The last four months of Bungie discourse have been incredible.

On one side:

>“Bungie is working on Destiny 2 again, therefore this PROVES they’re making Destiny 3 afterward.”

And on the other:

>“Bungie mentioned campaigns, destinations and raids, but didn’t specifically mention seasonal content, therefore seasonal content is NEVER coming back.”

Guys.

Did we perhaps sleep through the last four months? XD

We went from:

“Destiny 2 development is ending.”

to:

“Actually we’re working on Destiny 2 again, bringing vaulted content back, and this is only the first step.”

Meanwhile Marathon went from having a nice neat seasonal roadmap to:

“Actually never mind, we’re changing the cadence.”

And Bungie’s new leadership basically came out and said:

Please judge us by what we actually do because plans have changed a lot.

Yet somehow the community response has been:

“Excellent. Anyway, I shall now extrapolate Bungie’s exact September wording through the year 2047.”

If Bungie says:

>“We’re bringing back campaigns, destinations and raids”

the reasonable conclusion is:

Campaigns, destinations and raids are coming back.

Not:

SEASONS HAVE BEEN PERMANENTLY BANISHED FROM THE MATERIAL PLANE.

Likewise, Bungie working on D2 again means:

Bungie is working on D2 again.

It does not mean:

DESTINY 3 CONFIRMED, MY UNCLE WORKS AT THE TOWER.

Four months ago, “Destiny 2 is done receiving live-service content” was a considerably stronger statement than “we didn’t mention seasons in this announcement.”

And look how that turned out.

At this point I think the only safe way to read a Bungie roadmap is:

“This is what Bungie plans to do at the exact moment the webpage was published.”

Anything beyond that is astrology with gun perks.

The roadmap is not scripture. It is a weather forecast written by a company that recently discovered its own climate has administrative privileges, and every time someone says “but Bungie said NEVER” another seasonal activity quietly crawls out of the Content Vault wearing a fake moustache and insists it has always worked here.
