I posted my fishing boat a few days ago before I realized there was an aquarium you can purchase with quicksilver. Reworked the inside of the ship so I could it looks like a massive aquarium that can be viewed from 3 different rooms. The garden room, the sleeping quarters and the kitchen. It’s 3 aquariums squeezed together with 3 wonders displays between them. Behind it is the backside of a free placed living wall. The ships only advanced tricks is the half step glitch to get to merge pieces closer together
Got just shy of 200 hours in the game and after a life of scavenging, trading of illegal goods, pirate hunt, galaxy hoping, and fighting the glass man, I have decided to retire as a fisherman. And every good fisherman needs a fishing boat.
Outside of building the refineries on the outside the only advanced trick I used was the half step glitch using the duct accessory piece
I really wanted to build the Tim Burton Batmobile but couldn’t get the vertical glitch to work the way I wanted. You can see the basic shape but in the end it just isn’t the same. Regardless I’m Batman now.

Went back and forth a lot with this one. And while I sadly couldn’t connect the cockpit with the rest of the ship cause of the angles I did manage to at least get most of the inside layout right. Limited space and parts made it impossible to get exact.

Has anyone else or knows of a game crashing issue(I’m on Switch 2, if that helps) where building a underwater base in the same solar system as your freighter makes it so you can’t enter space?
The first time it happened was when I first got a freighter fairly early in the game and built a underwater base afterwards. The problem resolved after I deleted the underwater base. Assumed problem was random and forgot about it.
Now it’s been who knows how long and I finally traveled to a new galaxy and sure enough i forgot about underwater base and freighter combo I dealt with before. I bring this long story up is because the fix this time was not only deleting the base and dismissing the freighter, but I had exit the galaxy completely and now I can’t access that system’s space again with out a crash within minutes.
I know it’s a very longshot of a question but with all the players out there, does anyone know if the issue is the freighter or the base?
I assume the base cause the freighter is fine in any other system that has a base I built, but I can’t find much on underwater bases causing issues. I wanna eventually do more deep sea exploration but now I’m kinda anxious to ever dive deep into the waters again. Especially if it somehow locks me out of a galaxy if it gets worse the third time.
A few days ago I posted a corvette I built where halfway in the design i decided to make the ship look infested. I liked the idea, but the two designs didn’t fit as well as I wanted so I reworked the whole ships theme. The infestation idea came from the Creep Show movie segment called “The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill.”
If you never seen it, it stars Stephen King who wrote the short story the segment of the movie is based off. He plays a farmer who finds a meteorite that, after touching it, spreads this grass like fungus all over the farm.
I’ve started playing around with the corvette buildings more and what started out as an orbital bomber ship, turned into an alien infested idea.
