Trouble connecting V5.2TB with iPhone 17 pro
Hello, I wanted to ask the community if they have had success with connecting the v5.2tb with the iPhone 17 series. I think that Apple is implementing new hardware in the latest phones to detect replica airpods and prevent them from pairing. My iPad 9th gen with the latest iOS 27 beta 5 has no trouble and works perfectly just like iOS 26 did. Like I mentioned my iPhone 16 pro had no trouble with these airreps and I don’t recall having any issues with my iPhone 17 pro either until I updated to the iOS 27 beta.
My airreps are detected and actually still do the airpod pop up screen when opened nearby the phone. However, they don’t automatically connect, and when trying to connect via the airplay logo in the control center (which they initially appear in) it loads and fails. The same occurs when I try and connect via the standard bluetooth settings. The firmware on the reps is up to date as I checked a couple minutes ago. And yes, I have tried forgetting them/resetting them to no avail. They only work currently with my iPad which is a bummer since I don’t typically take my iPad out on the go. I bought the AirPods for my iPhone specifically and I’ve had to revert to using my authentic AirPods 1st gen.
