What are some games similar to the NES Mega Man games?

Pretty self explanatory, i want games that have a similar feel to the NES games. For some reason i couldn't get really into the SNES ones (although tbf i will try again later) but yk.

I know about Mibibli's quest, and i think it fits that category that i'm looking for, but i've already finished that one. Any reccomendations?
