Do you guys think people are complaining WAY too much on the biopics?

Have you seen this movie? I know I'm probably comparing apples and oranges (even though the biopics haven't come out yet), but I bring this movie into the picture because people are complaining a lot about the four boys' casting choice, their looks, their clothes, accents, historical events accuracy, etc. And yet, in this movie the actors don't look like them, it's a fictional event on how things turned/would've turned out. But this is a movie that I liked a lot when I saw it, and I think most people do.

Just a thought I had.

So... what about the future releases?

So, now that the Rubber Soul: Special Edition release has been announced for 2 October 2026, and we're expecting the Beatles Four-Film Cinematic Event to be released on 7 April 2028, I was wondering, how are they going to schedule further Beatles product releases? Because each year we have at least one release, with the exception of 2020, we all know why.

Going further into the albums, four of those are the soundtrack of their respective films. My theory is that they're going to restore (or probably are already on the way of restoring) all four films to be released on Disney Plus, and they're going to accompany each release with their Special Edition remixed album, which is why I think Magical Mystery Tour hasn't been released yet (although I'm very aware that there was a box set in 2012 with a book and the movie, but it was released as the EP vinyl and without the remix treatment, so it wouldn't be rare to be re-released as the other albums). I don't think they'll be releasing all films at once, but rather each year.

That leaves us with 3 studio albums on their own, plus singles and EP tracks from Past Masters that haven't got their proper Giles Martin treatment. Will Carnival of Light ever see the light of day? (No pun intended). I think they'll restore the Shea Stadium concert and release it as a documentary on cinemas & an album on streaming. And also there's a possibility that the full Decca Audition will also be released and remixed, as well as the Star-Club in Hamburg Live concert. Other than that, I can't think of any other product.

So, here's a recount of their recent/confirmed releases:

2015: 1 and 1+ releases

2016: Live at the Hollywood Bowl expanded remix on streaming, with the Eight Days A Week - Touring Years documentary

2017: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Anniversary Special Edition and the Christmas Records (but not on streaming, sadly)

2018: The Beatles (White Album) Anniversary Special Edition

2019: Abbey Road Anniversary Special Edition and Singles Collection in vinyl

2021: Let It Be Special Edition & Get Back Documentary

2022: Get Back: Rooftop Performance album on streaming & Revolver Special Edition

2023: 'Now And Then' single and the Red & Blue albums remixed expanded editions

2024: Let It Be original restored film, Beatles 1964 U.S. Albums in Mono (vinyl only) and the Beatles '64 documentary (No Ed Sullivan and Washington Coliseum albums, tho)

2025: Anthology Collection with Anthology 4 and the documentaries on Disney Plus

2026: Rubber Soul Special Edition

2028: The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event

And here's my theory of their future releases:

2027: I honestly have no idea (Possibly Shea Stadium documentary and album)

2028: No release, except for like a compilation album of each movie's soundtrack, documentaries and release on Disney Plus

2029: A Hard Day's Night movie release on Disney Plus and album Special Edition, possibly includes the Long Tall Sally EP [This or Help!]

2030: Help! Movie release on Disney Plus and album Special Edition with Yes It Is, Bad Boy and I'm Down (Possibly Shea Stadium documentary and album) [This or A Hard Day's Night]

2031: Magical Mystery Tour movie release on Disney Plus and album Special Edition (or re-released box set with the remixed US Capitol album)

2032: Yellow Submarine movie release on Disney Plus and album Special Edition

2033: Beatles For Sale Special Edition with I Feel Fine and She's A Woman

2034: With The Beatles Special Edition with I Want To Hold Your Hand, This Boy, She Loves You, I'll Get You and The German versions

2035: Please Please Me as the final Special Edition with From Me To You and Thank You Girl, the Live! At the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany album and the full Decca Audition tape

2036: The Beatles Special Edition Box Set with all their UK studio albums and Past Masters remixed (and Carnival of Light, lol, I still have hope)

These later Special Editions will include their respective mono version and U.S. Capitol counterpart as with Rubber Soul, although I'm not sure what would happen with some albums like Yesterday & Today, for instance.

What do you think? What's your theory? Please let me know!

Finally got it! (And didn't get scammed)

I'm so happy that I got it used at a fairly reasonable price and it wasn't a counterfeit box set. What got me so interested, besides being the original mono mixes, it's the original 1965 stereo mixes of 'Help!' and 'Rubber Soul' which I have never listened to. I'll let you know my thoughts later!

My Kelyab Essential 61 keys are messing with Reaper's functions

So, I'm switching from Pro Tools to Reaper, and I have no idea what's going on, but for some reason whenever I plug my Keylab Essential 61 and I play notes on the keyboard it starts to mess with some functions.

A few examples: when I play F2, it changes the grid options to beats, time, etc. From like C-1 to G-1 it arms the record button on each track, and the next eight notes solo each track. When it goes further into like the 5 region, it starts to change the automation mode to read, write, touch, latch, etc.

It's frustrating because I've tried to change the MIDI In and Out settings and the Control/OSC/Web options and nothing works. Even when it's not selected at all as In and Out it still changes settings on Reaper and I can't play anything without changing unintentionally something. I need help, please.
