This was the last single released during Jimi’s lifetime. So why were these two tracks not released on an album until 2 years later (War Heroes). The Cry of Love only had 10 songs on it, and Rainbow Bridge has 8(!) songs on it. No wonder people thought they were scraping the bottom of the barrel with War Heroes and Loose Ends!!

This has always been one of my favorites. Unfortunately, most versions are well under 7-8 minutes… Does anyone know of an extended, jammed-out version?
