Howdy folks! My (45f) brother (44m) has a TBI. He is currently in a skilled nursing facility and working on month 3 of recovery. He was progressing really well until 2-3 weeks ago when he was diagnosed with sinking skin flap syndrome. Since then, progression has been markedly slower. Today I found out he has been experiencing something called neural storms. If anyone can share their or their loved ones’ experiences with SSFS or PSH or TBI’s for Dummies (me), I will gobble up alllllll the knowledge. I am trying to soak up as much info as I can so that I’m better prepared to take this journey with Bro. ❤️
