Hiya!
I hope this is the right reddit to post in, if not I apologize.
Anyway, to my problem. My computer randomly disconnects from the internet quite often. It comes and goes, sometimes I can get a day or two without disconnects and other days it's like every 10 minutes. It works again if I disable and re-enable my network device but if it's a bad day that's only temporary. If I get a good session going it stays connected until I turn off the computer. Important to note is that it is only this computer. Every other device on the network stays connected.
Things I've tried: Different router (didn't work), different network cable (didn't work), different ports (didn't work), using WiFi instead of ethernet (didn't work), installing other OS (works), reinstalling OS (didn't work), turning of the setting of allowing computer to power down this device (didn't work), updating and/or rolling back drivers (didn't work) and bringing the computer to a different location (didn't work).
Unfortunately, the one thing that did work, installing another OS, is not a solution as I need to be on Win11 for a number of reasons.
Personally I'm leaning towards a combination of hardware problems and some kind of setting in Win11, but I really don't know enough. So I'm asking here before I buy a new MB. Because that's my current next step.
My speccs, for what it's worth.
