After the recent twitter controversy over his Ina Bauer and whether it sucked or not, it got me to thinking. Who in the men’s field right now is doing this move? I am aware of Yuma and Jun but who else. Is this a skill that is hard to do therefore not many men are doing it or am I just missing it. Also, I think Ilia has a great baure!

As I usually do, I have spent a lot of time on all the platforms reading comments. Here is what I found.
There is the usual haters because of course he is the devil for toying with his fans.
General confusion over what he was announcing. I thought it was a fairly clear message, but I guess not for all? There are language barriers and maybe a failure to realize Ilia is a drama queen And he wanted to make a whole production out of his announcement. I love it, he brings the hype.
The fans are ecstatic, we get what we wanted.
And then there are those who thought it was a nothing burger. I guess I don’t understand. What exactly did they think he was going to announce? A break? DWTS? How are those any more or less valid than he is going to compete? Maybe they are just disappointed he will be back this year.
