Road Trip Advice [ON]
Hi everyone,
I will be travelling from Ottawa to Hamilton at the end of the June by car. My son, who will be 9 months old by that time, no longer tolerates being in his car seat for a little while. We went to see the Tulip Festival yesterday and it was a nightmare getting home (45 minutes). A 20-minute ride to see his grandparents is also becoming difficult. So this lengthy trip is making me pretty nervous.
He’s still in his bucket seat but we’re thinking of getting a convertible one now as he will likely outgrow it in a month. It might also help him be more comfortable? We’ll take advantage of the ONroute’s along the way to give him frequent breaks and to stop for feeds (he’s exclusively formula fed). Have other parents made such a trip? Can you please share your experiences and provide any advice?
