Knitting and Crocheting Spells
I’ve recently picked up knitting about a year ago and I can see it having potential witchy uses. Has anyone used knitting or crocheting in their SASS spell craft or witchy wellness?

I think the Episcopal church may be the one denomination I tend to align with the most. I’ve been attending one in the town next to mine for the past month. I’m raised RC and love the similarities with the liturgy, the Eucharist every Sunday. However I disagree with the values in RC and I don’t feel I’m compromising anything. However I am the type of person who likes exploring other paths like Buddhist philosophy and even things like reiki and chakras (Im kinda skeptical on reiki and chakras but they make good visualization practices). But I identify primarily as Christian and love the life of Christ.
I think my church may be considered a “low church” rather than high church Anglican. That’s not a problem but there are still aspects of my Catholic roots I still want to keep like praying the rosary in my own time or wearing a crucifix. Is that a problem?
My other question is, am I okay to join if my partner is not religious or wants to attend church?
I used to attend a UU congregation but realized I’d rather stick with a Christian church.
Hi im 32 year old cisgender female and deciding to allow God back into my life a few weeks ago.
For the past five years I’ve tried practicing “Wicca adjacent” paganism. I have no bitter feelings towards it but didn’t find it fulfilling. I realized I kinda just appreciated the aesthetics but not the actual path.
I was raised and confirmed catholic, but my parents were not strict about it but made me make my confirmation because the rest of the family did. Around the age of 14 or so I really feel my spiritual journey began. I questioned the Catholic Church and and some evangelical “friends” introduced me to their version of Christianity. I liked the charismatic and emotional worship services but looking back, I feel it was love bombing. Then the not so pleasant aspects of conservative Christianity was pushed onto and I felt so much hate and shame towards myself and couldn’t make sense of a loving god sending people to hell. But I felt trapped.
Around 18 when I went to college, I dropped conservative Christianity and remained mostly “spiritual and not religious”. However throughout my twenties I became a bit of an angry atheist mostly due to the trauma I experienced with evangelical Christianity.
In my late twenties, like I said before I eventually picked up on witchcraft but couldn’t fully believe it. If anything I saw spells as “artistic prayers” but because I couldn’t fully connect to God or a higher power, it was pointless.
Anyways, with Pope Leo being the new pope, Ive come to really like him and it has had me reconsidering become Christian again. I won’t join the Catholic Church again due to its corruption, misogyny, patriarchal values, but I still value its “flavor”. I’ve been attending an Episcopalian church instead for the past couple weeks and I’ve found it scratches the spiritual itch. Ive been also reading the Bible almost every day (NRSV-UE).
I’m currently reading The Universal Christ by Richard Rohr and have found it comforting. I’m glad to see there are so many Christians that aren’t bigots. I really believed for the longest time you had believe in Biblical inerrancy in order to be Christian. I consider myself a universalist for the most part.
