Please read. I need help.
Hello. I was with a man for 18 yrs. I left him in 2013/2014. In 2022 he was in a severe car accident and was in a coma for months. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and so many physical problems. I was living and working in another state. His family asked if I would consider coming to care for him till they got help in the home. That was 4 yrs ago. I am his 24hr caregiver. I do not get paid. I have now been diagnosed with cancer. Advanced. I have already started chemo and go to radiation 5 times a week. I need help. Every place I call just passes the responsibility onto another agency. The hospital is of no use as they haven't even filled out a paper for the waiver program that I dropped off 3 weeks ago. He is under 62 so area on aging will not help. I called adult protective services on myself. She came to house and never heard from again. Took him to the emergency room twice during manic state said they had no where to send him and I had to take him home. Cops were here last night said I had to call crisis. Crisis said he is not a harm to himself cant help. Neighbor called the cops on him 6am they never even came. Its almost 24 hrs . I cant care for him and myself. Anyone who has any suggestions? Please. Thank you
