Is this she Right ?
My best friend and I (I’m a woman) have known each other since we were about 9 years old, and I’m currently 21. I moved to the U.S. during my teenage years, and she came to live here two years ago. I lived with her for about 6 months, which were very nice we never argued, we slept together, and we went out often, just the two of us. She married a guy (I like him) a year ago. She moved in with him; she mostly married him for papers, but sometimes you can tell she is in love with him.
Well, the thing is that I still go out with my old friends and make plans with them not as often as before, but I still do. She has met two of them because we went out with them twice. But they don’t really know her well.
She moved almost two hours away from my house, so we go out maybe twice a month. And several times she has complained, asking why I don’t invite her when I go out with them. I’ve told her that I don’t go out with them that often, and the times I did go out were because they invited me the same day it wasn’t something planned, which is usually how it happens. Sometimes I just go to their house.
One time I invited her, and it was during the week. I invited her, but she couldn’t go because she had to make dinner for her husband. So when I went out with my friends during the week, I didn’t tell her because most likely she wouldn’t be able to go anyway. And I barely go out with them it’s not often, and it’s almost never planned.
The thing is that if she does go, she brings her husband, and I don’t want that because if I go out with my friends, I’d have to bring two extra people my friend and her husband, whom none of them know.
My friend tells me that I don’t consider her. But I don’t know if she’s right. What I feel is that she’s married, and she should be spending that free time with her husband, especially since I visit her at her place about two or three times a month. And she rarely comes to visit me, and when she does, she has to come with her husband.
