So I understand the basics like your oxford shirt, jeans, chinos, etc. but something feels missing when I have those clothes on. I feel as if there's got to be one other piece or other type of clothing to wear that elevates the style just that little bit to be above looking basic.
The only advice I see in regards to going beyond the basic bastard involves layering, but this is more for colder climates. I tend to find myself wearing athletic wear the most when I'm out and about just because of the heat. Any advice for someone in my shoes? I'd love to hear from others that live in similar environments who can share their go to fits as well.
